The Joy of Christmas

Some people may think the joy and true meaning of Christmas is leaving Santa Claus cookies and milk and waking up to see what Santa has brought them. Also, when the month turns to December or even by the end of November, some people’s joy and thoughts about Christmas are in hurrying around and buying great presents for just the right person. Then on Christmas morning after the presents have been opened their joy seems to go away. What these people are missing is the greatest gift of all – the true meaning and joy of Christmas.
God gave us the GREATEST gift of all… Jesus… on that first Christmas morning. That’s a joy that stays with you after the gift has been opened. Let's all remember the greatest gift and true meaning of Christmas!!!

Very nice blog. Yes, Christmas has become materialistic. That's why there's "Christmas in July."
However, think of really small children that don't quite understand Jesus or that true gift. Couldn't Santa Claus be some sort of symbol? He gives gifts to everyone just God's gift is for everyone? I understand how it can get out of hand as we get older, but for the very young, there's something about Santa! That is true about after the presents are opened, everyone thinks, "That's it!" The joy does flee.

As far as your writing, don't use second person in entries or essays (you/your).
I look forward to future blogs, and longer ones!
